In April 2018, PLATFORM took over the lease for the shop at 36 Marylebone High Street. Their goal was to create a space that showcased the work of over 20 fashion and accessory designers for three months. Kando Studio designed and fitted out the store within a tight one-week timeframe.We preserved the store’s original features, such as exposed brick walls, steel beams, and wooden flooring, in the new design. The floor plan existing layout divided the space into three interconnected rooms, ensuring a natural flow for customers.To suit the pop-up concept, we chose freestanding display tables that could easily adapt to the store’s needs. We also added fixed wall displays to the only plastered and painted wall and used copper rails for cloths hanging.The space was not only visually appealing but also highly practical, offering customers an exceptional shopping experience.
