Brief – To curate and design a pop-up store for a multi-brand store, PLATFORM.

In April 2018 PLATFORM took over the shop at 36 Marylebone High Street in a short notice and we were given a week to come up with a design that allows showcasing work of over 20 designers across fashion and fashion accessories for period of nearly 3 month.

The original features of the existing store included exposed brick walls, steel beams, and wooden flooring. The floor plan was divided into three room leading to each other. We loved those original features and wanted to keep them.

Due to nature of the new store, being a pop up we opted for freestanding display tables – they could be moved and adopted to the needs of the store. We introduced fixed-to-wall display on the only wall that was plastered and painted originally. The store required introduction of changing rooms, and further lighting throughout.

The review from customers of the store was it feels like an East London store has been lifted and located to the West. The store tuned out to be a visually interesting and engaging space, but also very functional.
